The Albuquerque-based producer debuts on the Defrostatica with two unapologetic club-ready tracks. Snorkel is a high-energy jungle rave tune at 160 bpm. While Potion, a juicy collaboration with vocalist Apotheca, bangs at 145 bpm.
SlowRolla's work fuses footwork, breakbeat, jungle and techno with the experimental flair of leftfield bass and deconstructed club styles. Fellow artist Apotheca is also part of the New Mexico rave scene. Together, they have reinforced the area's bass music culture, bringing a tasteful dynamic to events and contributing to the local underground culture.
